Time for a Makeover

One of my favorite books I’ve ever written was Love at the Flower Cafe. I’m not a huge Bachelor TV show fan, but I’ve definitely watched a season or two. I think I got roped into The Bachelorette when my mom was sick, and I watched while she was in the hospital so I could fill her in when she woke up.

That’s not why I wrote this book though–I actually didn’t even really think about that again until now. I wrote it because I had this sassy snowboarder in my head named Flynn, and I wanted to see what would happen if he was stuck in a house full of women. ha!

It got a great reception upon release, and then it just kind of… died.

I’ve tossed around things I thought might be wrong with it, and kept coming to the same conclusion: the title/cover combo (as much as I loved it) wasn’t working.

So I’m drawing a brand new cover for this book baby (the last of my backlist to get a makeover) and re-titling it to: Once Upon a Rose. I am SO excited about this re-release!

I’m adding a few new scenes (so it will be even longer–this was the chief complaint, you wanted more Flynn) and I’ll be completely re-launching it. So if you have the OG copy, this updated version won’t override it!

You’ll still get all the snowy goodness, the sneaky quiet romantic meetings in her flower shop… everything you loved from before. But you’ll be getting even more!

Tell me, are you excited about this update??

Once Upon a Rose will release hopefully before March! 🙂
