I froze a little for this photo but we ran to the I froze a little for this photo but we ran to the tree farm to get a real tree and ✨of course✨ I couldn’t let the opportunity pass without grabbing a photo with my two books featuring a tree farm. (I have a small obsession with tree farms—I don’t know what it is but they’re just magical.) I’ve talked about it before, but before 2020, I was a photographer. My FAVORITE sessions were Christmas, especially on the tree farm. My first book, Love at the Christmas Tree Farm, came about because I was like—how much fun would it be for a photographer to fall in love with a tree farmer? 😂🥰 There’s several scenes that never made it in the book—but I’m working on that. 😉 QOTD: What’s your favorite holiday tradition?
I totally stunk up the place when it came to pictu I totally stunk up the place when it came to pictures today, but I was either cooking, eating, or cleaning up. 😆 From me and our sweet new addition, Loki (and the rest of my brood), we hope you made lots of memories and had some delicious food this Thanksgiving! 🥰
2023 has been a wild ride, so I’m finishing it u 2023 has been a wild ride, so I’m finishing it up by “fixing” a book I’ve wanted to fix for a long time. Think of it as the “Taylor’s Version” of the old book. (It’s Love at the Christmas Tree Farm for anyone wondering!) I’m REALLY excited! As a new author in 2021, I didn’t trust my own instincts as much as I trusted others. This is my way of taking my book baby back 100% and feeling free to tell the story I wanted to tell! (There were a lot of my favorite scenes on the “cutting room” floor and now they won’t be!) I’m tweaking it to fit more of a low key RomCom vibe—so if you’ve read it, no it won’t lose the emotional aspect that makes Aiden + Chloe so special—it’s just.. better. 🥰 A little more whimsy, a little more Christmas. ANYWAY! Part of this rebrand includes a new title and y’all: the struggle is real. I’ve got a notepad of titles and out of desperation to springboard some ideas—get my own creativity flowing—I turned to chatGPT to suggest some titles (note: not to ACTUALLY title the book, to steer me in any direction outside of where my brain is going) and it’s the FUNNIEST thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Scroll for photos of the hilarity it suggested. 😂 Here’s where I need you beautiful humans: PLEASEEEEE help me retitle this book! lol Things to know (that are not at all spoiler-y): 🎄he’s a Christmas tree farmer 🎄she’s a single mom + photographer 🎄 he’s Grinchy, she’s a Cindy Lou Who 🎄it’s a marriage of convenience story Some of my own suggestions that are… not great 😂 🎄Faking Around the Christmas Tree 🎄Married in a Winter Wonderland 🎄Married Under the Mistletoe As you can see, I need help. 😂 Can’t wait to see what you come up with!!
