🌹Love at the Flower Cafe is getting a glow up!🌹 And I don’t just mean a shiny new cover. Harper and Flynn are getting the whole royal treatment, but I’m pulling it down from Amazon on Monday! Why? Because I LOVE this story. And I want other people to love it too. Despite a handful of cover tests, it’s just not doing great and I really think it’s the title. (Even though it really ties in to the story quite well. IYKYK.) I’m going to add a couple of scenes, give the reality show premise a tiny makeover I think you’ll love, and give it a new title AND give it a new cover. 🥰 I’m really excited. It’s been a crazy year! After two years off, I n It’s been a crazy year! After two years off, I not only published one book—I published two! ✌🏻 I spent the first half of the year reading. To be honest, I wasn’t even sure I’d publish this year. There was a lot of wavering and “why bother” from me. 🫠🫣 And a little bit of “I don’t think I can actually write another book. I’m not even sure how I did the other times I finished them!” Mid-summer, my husband put me on a deadline and was like—write this book. No more excuses. As someone with ADHD, I absolutely need external deadlines so I (mostly) rose to the challenge. There were a lot of panicked messages, a lot of tears, a lot of self doubt… but I managed to finally finish the book I’ve been wrestling for two and a half years. And then I tuned around—immediately behind on a deadline—and wrote another one. 😮‍💨 They’re both the longest and shortest books I’ve ever written. I put my whole heart into building the world of Enchanted Hollow, and again into telling Ella and Luke’s story. My sister told me repeatedly that these books contain the most of ME, and I think it’s because I love fairytales so much. I desperately want to believe in good, despite my cynicism with humanity and the world as it is today. I want to share hope with people who maybe struggle to see it based on their own circumstances and remind them to keep fighting. And then that spilled into Laila and Holden’s story. I’m so grateful for every person that gave me a chance—and gave Enchanted Hollow a chance—and I hope the stories (so far) have reminded you of the good that exist, and to have courage despite your fear. Whatever it may be. 🫶🏻 My grandfather reminded me that there are people out there who need to read my stories. God gave me a gift, and it would be selfish of me to keep it to myself. (Nothing like a little tough love, right?) So I’ll keep them coming for those that need the stories and those that love a happy ending in a crazy world. 🥰 And I hope with time, they only get better and better! Thank you so much for an incredible “welcome back”!! And who knows? 2025 might have a whole lot in store. 😏😉
