Christmas Kisses and Cookie Crumbs

I was lucky enough to publish ‘Tis the Gingerbread Season with an amazing group of authors this past holiday season. Each book is a novelette, which means that each bookcan be read in under two hours. Each book also comes with a happily ever after and a cookie recipe!

ALL of our books are closed door, short and sweet. 🙂

‘Tis the Gingerbread Season is a “spin-off” novelette of my Enchanted Hollow series. If you haven’t stumbled across my new series yet, here’s the rundown:

  • it’s closed door
  • it’s inspired by the show Once Upon a Time, which means the fairytales are interwoven and interconnected
  • it’s set in small town Texas
  • the town is magical–but it’s fairy tale magic
  • each story is based off a main fairy tale (but might have elements of other fairy tales too)
  • these are modern day retellings

The first book in this series is Meet Me at Midnight, which is a story about Cinderella. Ella is a wedding planner who has been strong-armed into working for her step-mother for years, and is on the cusp of breaking free. If she can just plan this last wedding and knock it out of the park. Enter the MMC, Luke, who’s a smidge grumpy, a single dad, and struggling with his feelings for Ella. Oh, and the wedding she’s planning takes place on his farm. 😉 Lots of forced proximity here!

‘Tis the Gingerbread Season takes place only a couple of months later, and I highly recommend that you read Meet Me at Midnight first! It will make the reading experience even better. And there are several bonus chapters for ‘Tis the Gingerbread Season that didn’t make it in the book, so be sure you grab that afterward!
