We’ve started a tradition that my kids love. The We’ve started a tradition that my kids love. There’s this family farm close-ish to us—filled with activities and quiet and beauty and memories I want to lock up tight in a keepsake box. 🥰 We went last fall when there were pumpkins everywhere, and we spent the day there today, surrounded by flowers. My husband even got to come this time, which made it even better, because of the hours he works these days. If you were to ask my kids their favorite part of today I’d get a lot of varied answers, but I think flowers, zip lines, screaming goats, and a belly full of Mexican food at the end of all tops the list. 💜 I MAY have also packed a paperback to use for the express purpose of taking a photo in this Zinnia field (and the sunflower field) because it occurred to me that I forgot to celebrate Harper and Flynn back in March. WHOOPS! So happy belated book birthday to my odd couple, and happy family fun day to us. 🥰
It occurred to me that I haven’t done a formal i It occurred to me that I haven’t done a formal introduction in a super duper long time! 😂🙈 Here goes! I’m Monique, and I’ve been married to my husband for almost ✨17 years✨. We’ve got 4 adorable kids that I homeschool and I write clean contemporary love stories. 🥰 I also own a small bookish shop, and take photos to sell to other small businesses to keep income flowing. I stay pretty busy, haha! Currently all of my book series take place in Colorado, in different places. I actually live in Texas, but fall and winter are my favorite seasons as far as activities/aesthetic and well, we don’t really get either! Snow is more like ice, and it’s rare. And fall… well, we don’t talk about that. If you are Texan or know a Texan, you understand! The Pine Cove Springs series is currently in 1st person POV, but I’ve been heavily considering changing those to 3rd and fleshing them all out to full novels. We’ll see. 😂 It’s small town, and will eventually flesh out the stories of the Wheeler siblings. I’m excited to get back to them! Sweetheart Springs is a shared world series with my bestie @kimberlyhansonauthor, and takes place in NW Colorado. There’s some fun town history/lore, it’s a super cute small town, and I write about cowboys as well. 🤠 You can snag my free prequel when you sign up for my NL, and there’s another freebie coming soon! Lastly (for now), my Hallmark book is finally going to see the light of day this fall. So all you pumpkin farm, PSL, leaf changing, festival loving people—keep an eye out! 🥰🎉😍

They’re slowly killing me with the complicated love story, but I love them! They’re a second chance, marriage pact, former bull rider vs the fiesty heroine that makes body care products from the pines on her tree farm. 🌲 He fell first, but she’s stubborn, and there’s plenty of fireworks in the horizon! lol The second is from the book that sat with Hallmark for months, only for it to be released back to me, because their publishing arm closed. 😞 Fallin’ For You is a grumpy/sunshine, pumpkin farmer vs wedding planner, Cinderella-ish retelling that I cannot WAIT to finally release into the world. I submitted it almost a year ago, and this fall, it’ll be in your hands just in time to read while you sip your PSL. 🥰🎃

They’re definitely my most reached for cups, lol! Reading a little before jumping back into the daily grind today. 🥰
